We took a day trip to Pine, AZ.š² This was our first trip there. Pine is only 2 hours - North of Gold Canyon. We had a bad monsoon rain storm the night before and we were without power for 24 hrs., so we decided to stay in a hotel overnight (in Mesa) and spend the day in Pine.
The drive there is very beautiful. There were so many beautiful pine trees and moss covered mountains. The elevation was so high, it seemed as you could get out of your car, and touch the sky! Simply breathtaking!!! If you have allergies and asthma like I do, this is the place to escape to. The air was crisp, clean and the sky was free from smog. It is just a picturesque place to visit.š
As we drove through the town of Pine, the roads were winding, but nothing was more beautiful than the smell of pine trees that lined the mountains, streets and canyon as far as the eyes could see! We were also treated to a small area of my favorite rock formations... Hoodoos! š²
Also, we were going into Pine, to visit the Pine Creek Canyon Lavender Farm. Man... this place is amazing! We were thrilled we were able to witness them harvesting the lavender (Saturday, July 10, 2021). It is all done by hand and many volunteers come to help harvest and bundle the lavender to sell. It was a pleasure learning about the process and meeting the workers and volunteers. š©šØ
Also, the smell of lavender filled the air and the color aroused your senses, as you enjoyed the aroma of lavender all around you. š¤ Ahh...
The store was amazing as well **Please note: These particular photos of the products and landscape photos, are from the company website, **so I do not own the rights to these pictures.** The store has so many products made from lavender... I had a small budget, so I picked up just a few products (Lavender shampoo bar, lotion and Soap).
I hope you enjoy the photos and make a day trip to Pine, AZ, and visit the Pine Creek Canyon Lavender Farm. About twice a year, they harvest the lavender. If you subscribe to their site, you will be notified when that happens. It was a beautiful adventure! š

Who knows... you may just see me standing on top of the hoodoos!š¤ Then again... maybe not! š
