Hello and let me take you on a day trip to Chiricahua National Monument in Wilcox, AZ. I had been looking forward to visiting this park for sometime to see these amazing Hoodoos "On Steriods". Hoodoos are unique rock formations and are pretty rare in Arizona, but this place took Hoodoos to a whole other level!

First when you pull into the area, you are greeted by the visitor center. We stopped in there first to get info and pick up a few souvenirs (post card and magnet). Then we went up the mountain on our adventure. The ride is very scenic, green with lush trees and beautiful. It was very quite and sirrine. So quiet you could hear a pin drop! We went on a Friday, toward the end of the day, so the weather was cool and there was hardly anyone there! As you drive up the scenic road, you are treated to thousands of unique rock formations, so many in fact that you can't even take it all in, in one trip!

At the top of the hill, you come to the treat with a cherry on top... The grand daddy canyon of them all. Yes!!! The Hoodoo Echo Canyon & trail is filled with Hoodoos as far as the eye can see! My husband, Vel and I went on a short hike downard, then back up. If you like rock formations, then this place has to be on your bucket list of must travels to. You could easy spend an entire day there hiking on the trails and just taking in God's natural beauty! As we left the overnight campers where settling in for the night with tents and a toasty fire. So enjoy the video & pics!
