Hello and we are back on another adventure... It was a perfect day to visit and do a hike at Papago Park in downtown Phoenix, AZ. The hike to reach the top of Hole-In-A-Rock was too crowded, so we opted to hike to another mountainous rock instead. There were only a few other people at this one.

The hike was misleading, as it didn't seem that far to get too from the parking lot, but it was 1.5 miles just to reach the base of the rock/mountain. But going up the mountain was very challenging! There were loose rocks, it was slippery and very steep. But we made it up there! At the top, we were treated with 180* views of downtown Phoenix and an overview of Papago Park. It was quite beautiful...

As we rested, took some pictures and marveled at the view, we decended back down the mountain to head over to Papago Park. It was a peaceful area with tons of palm trees and two lakes. So, we got in some good exercise (3.5 miles) and enjoyed our family hike with our daughter. The views of downtown were incredible! So enjoy the pics and see you on our next day trip adventure!
