Picacho Peak State Park

Hello again!

Since we are in the thick of a global pandemic and travel has been restricted for Arizona, I haven't posted since our last day trip. But we decided to venture out (practicing safe distancing) to a new state park that we found out about, Picacho Peak. The park is located between Casa Grande and Tucson, AZ. We went there to see the beatiful wildflowers that bloom around arizona. Well... not only was it super windy, but we were too late and most of the wildflowers had vanished! But we did enjoy the park and seeing what was left of the wildflowers.

It has been a joy to get out and discover my state of Arizona. We have been able to see some lovely parks filled with beauty, history and scenic landscape. So I encourage everyone to get out and explore your state! It doesn't cost anything to drive 1-3 hours for a day trip, and you can even bring your own snacks and lunch! Until next time, have a blessed day in the Lord!
