Hello Everyone,

This year, as you may know already, had been a journey and focus on vising places in my state of Arizona. I am very much into nature and landscapes, including: waterfalls, plants and flowers. So in June we visited the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. It was extremely hot this day, we should have gotten there when it first opened or went in the fall when it would be cooler. But, we (well, I) was looking forward to going.

When you first enter you are treated to beautiful desert landscape and this glorious Chihuly Glass Sculpture. What a treat! We have seen Chihuly's designs before in Seattle (mind blowing), but this particular sculpture was AMAZING! I don't know how they keep the plants looking so beautiful in our desert sun and heat! As you continue into the garden, you will reach a series of paths that take you to specific gardens. I don't want to spoil it, but where comfortable shoes, brings lots of water and rest when you need to. We were there for hours taken pictures!

Afterwards, Vel and I ate lunch at the café. I highly recommend having the Breakfast BLT! It was delicious and their specially bread tea was amazing as well! Well... enjoy the pictures! I hope you decide to visit one day, it was really fun!
